Bug loves Christmas! He has been waiting for it to come since we broke his heart and took the tree down last year. I think his favorite thing is the Christmas tree, and his love for it has evolved over the years. A few years ago he would eat the Christmas lights and he was bent on destroying the tree. Ever since last year, he has been very good with the tree. In fact this year he has proclaimed himself guardian of our tree. Any time Doo Doos goes to take an ornament off, he swiftly grabs it from her and asks for help to put it back on.
The day after Thanksgiving I started to put up some decorations and he was in heaven! All day he kept saying "tree, tree," but I had to wait for Hubby to get home from work. The minute Hubby came through the door he kept saying "tree, tree," so we immediately set up our tree.
His love for Christmas makes it so fun and helps me want to be more festive. I love that this year he is saying the word Christmas better. It has gone from "Kwi Kwi" to "Kwismas." It is ever so precious!
The other fun thing is his hat. Bug likes to wear a hat anytime he leaves the house, and when he found a Santa hat in our decorations he was excited. So now when he leaves the house, he has on the Santa hat.
