In My Shoes

Frequently my husband and I have people tell us that they think we are good parents for the Bug. My husband and I were discussing it the other day, and although we appreciate the compliment, we feel most people would do the same in our shoes. Even-though we have been given a specific challenge with our son, he is our son and we love him and would do anything for him. I believe that all of you out there feel the same about your children. You love and want them to have the best life possible. Different challenges arise, and you do the best you can to help your child.

There are times I feel that I am not doing enough for the Bug, and I take inventory of what I could do better. There is always room for improvement. But at the end of the day I just have to tell myself I did the best I knew how to do.
